Spring Registration Is Open

This is a program to provide a developmental track and field experience. It includes age-appropriate event work in sprints, hurdles, distance, relays, long jump, high jump, shot put, and javelin. For 5th and 6th graders, this is a program to also include discus. Our coaches are USATF Level 1 and 3-step certified. This is a program to incorporate strength training, core, balance, agility, mobility, and education on nutrition, hydration, and sleep. This is a program to conclude with an intra-squad meet on Saturday, May 11, where athletes can choose four events to compete in, including participation on a relay team.

What: VF Youth Sprint, Throw, Jump, Run Clinic

When: March 25 – May 11 (excluding spring break week), Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays with occasional Saturdays

Time: 5:00 – 6:30 PM

Where: Evergreen MS (in the Valley)

Cost: $150 per athlete ($25 sibling discount) plus USATF membership; shirts included

Registration: Form available at www.valleyflash.com. Registration is open and closes Friday, March 15. Fees must be paid on or before March 25. Payment accepted via Venmo (VFRC account), cash, or check (payable to VFRC).
