IN SHORT:

• When: March 25 - May 11 (excluding spring break week), Mondays and Wednesdays/occasional Saturdays

• Cost: $125/athlete ($25 sibling discount) plus USATF membership; shirts included

• Registration: Form is HERE. Registration is now open and will close Friday, March 15. Fees must be paid on or before March 25; payment can be to Venmo (VFRC account), cash, or check (payable to VFRC).

IN DETAIL:

Come be a part of a youth developmental track and field program hosted by Valley Flash Running Club! Athletes aged Kindergarten to 6th grade will be learning different events including hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin, relays, sprints and distance. It also will include strength, core, conditioning, agility, and mobility. This is for youth athletes who are interested in learning the sport of track and field, as well as athletes looking to improve their speed and overall athletic ability. All coaches are USATF Level 1 coaches and 3-step verified (background check, USATF membership, SafeSport Training).

The camp runs from March 25th until May 11th, except for spring break, during the first week of April.

There will be an intra-squad meet at the conclusion of this program, on Saturday, May 11. Athletes will be able to choose 4 events to compete in, including being a part of a relay team.
